Waivers and Safety

I've got a very simple waiver for you to sign at the boat before we depart. While I have an extensive insurance policy should anything happen, it protects me from any willful misconduct on your part. All it does is verify that I'm not at fault if you do something incredibly stupid like jump off the boat or try to pet a shark.  

The Coastguard also requires us to go over a safety briefing before we leave. It can intimidate some people, but it's really not that scary. I'll go over where all of the life jackets and fire extinguishers are, as well as what to do if you feel sea sick or fatigued. I'll use that time to introduce your Deckhand and go over how to use the stereo and toilet as well. I've got it down to a very efficient speech, but it's very important that when you show up to the boat, you're ready to retain some information as we settle in. After that, it's all fun and relaxation!
